Paul is a Lecturer in the School of Design, whose research explores the intersections of language, landscape, community and communication.

Biography

Paul is a Lecturer in the School of Design and joined the University of Leeds in September 2007.

 

Research Interests

Paul’s main research interests centre on a conceptual reorientation of typographic process and practice, exploring the relationships between typography, writing and aspects of everyday life.

His current research investigates designed narratives of community and place. In particular, it focuses on sites of class experience and situated knowledge at moments or points of change or transition.
