Biography

Achilles Pliakas obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering from the Department of Textiles in TEI of Piraeus in Greece (2003). He completed a Masters Degree in Colour and Imagining Science (2007) and a PhD in Textiles (2011) at the University of Leeds. Achilles was appointed in 2010 as a Research Fellow in the School of Design at University of Leeds and he is currently working on the Enhanced Water Separation from Bio-fuel.
