As we head towards the latter half of your last ever semester one, it could be time to start thinking about your final classification.
Did you know: the university effectively calculates your overall classification in two ways, and picks the highest of your two averages:
a) The 1:1 average. The classification grade is calculated as (L2 average + L3 average)/2
b) The 1:2 average. The classification grade is calculated as (L2 average + L3 average + L3 average)/3
So if you do better in your final year, the final year will contribute to two thirds of your classification. You might want to tinker with your classification possibilities using the University’s classification calculator: http://students.leeds.ac.uk/download/210/classification_calculator_1 4
